Market Development Representatives are responsible for collecting and analyzing market trends and customer data to generate leads. The person in this position will utilize a variety of tools and spend the majority of their day making outbound calls or contacting prospects via email. As a valued member of the Marketing team, the MDR will market our products to prospective customers and help develop a better understanding of the business needs of our customers.

Essential Job Functions:
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales teams to uncover leads in new territories through cold calls and emails
- Engage with potential clients and seek to understand their needs while actively sharing options
- Remain resourceful and creative in staying ahead of industry trends
- Know where to find market data and how that data impacts our business
- Collect and analyze customer data regarding preferences, demographics, patterns, and other factors that may influence product demand
- Stay current with ongoing changes in the industry and learn new techniques/processes
- Can manage a high volume of calls in a dynamic atmosphere that evolves quickly
- Establish and manage and advisory relationship with the existing customer to address their concerns and sell additional products and services to meet their operational needs
- Review product and service performance with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Identify customer business needs and communicate how Procare Software’s offerings can address their needs
- Schedule appointments between prospects and sales teams
- Develop an understanding of Procare Software’s technologies, offerings, and prices
- Able to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities and communication strategies
- Work with other departments to target accounts with innovative and strategic approaches
- Efficiently use Salesforce and other tools to research accounts, identify key contacts, and reach out to prospective customers
Requirements

- Ability to explain technical information to a non-technical audience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand and translate marketing data
- Track and forecast market trends
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Develop strong relationships with customers
- Prior experience with Salesforce a plus
