How you'll make an impact

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Sales Operations and is the primary sales operations partner to the sales team in the Americas.

The ideal candidate comes from a commercial/operations role in a high growth business with a global footprint. An understanding of SaaS/cloud solutions/online accounting market will be viewed favorably. 
Strong business operations and commercial acumen is a given as is the ability to drive initiatives that grow customer segments and maximize commercial outcomes.

This is a highly influential position supporting a key distribution channel that will see you become an expert in our company, our products, the market, our customers and the competition.

Strong relationship building and influencing skills are complemented with the ability to think laterally and shape solutions in an evolving business environment.

What you'll do

  • Design and execute business strategies, plans and procedures that ensure profitable, efficient and compliant sales operations.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to develop and adapt sales strategies based on the insights your team generates.
  • Support the sales commission structure and reporting cycle within the Americas businesses.
  • Manage the sales operations function. The sales operations team supports our sales staff in prioritizing sales opportunities, enabling better and more targeted territory management.
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly performance reporting and analysis to decision-makers within the business unit, including forecast tracking, sales metrics and dashboards.
  • Set comprehensive action plans to drive performance and growth.
  • Develop and deploy strategies for scaling the operations facing growth over the next three years.
  • Help drive efficiencies across each of the partner sales teams including, Partner Development, Account Management, Senior Account Management, and Partner Consulting.
  • Collaborate with marketing operations to drive efficiencies, measure results, and optimize processes by leveraging customer data and automation tools.
  • Continue to build on our already great values-based culture that encourages innovation to drive successful outcomes for our customers.

What you'll bring with you
Basic qualifications

  • Must have supported a territory-based operating model for a global sales organization
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business operations, planning, financial analysis, and modeling with relevant experience as a commercial business partner
  • Experience managing the delivery of sales operations platforms and tools to sales teams
  • Someone who has already been in a leadership role, either directly or indirectly
  • Has previously worked as a sales operations analyst within a software (SaaS) company
  • Experience with Salesforce and Marketo

Preferred qualifications

  • Ability to influence through clear presentation and communication of complex data analysis
  • Ability to recognize and employ appropriate interaction styles and methods to achieve the desired outcome
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to develop insights and recommendations that synthesizes information across functions and perspectives
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration and consultative skills. Inquisitive and positive mindset in approaching complex problems
