The Opportunity:
Datadog is a cloud-scale monitoring software company. Our highly successful Mid-Market sales team is rapidly increasing revenue and has no plans on slowing down! Our hybrid inside/outside Mid-Market role focuses on customers with 2,000-5,000 employees. This is an opportunity to join a team that’s disrupting a market which will experience 300% growth in the next few years. Our Mid-Market Sales Manager will provide strategy, mentorship, and guidance for a team of Account Executives who are responsible for driving new business through full cycle sales.
You Will:
- Manage, coach and scale a team of Mid-Market Account Executives
- Lead team to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
- Monitor sales performance: activity, pipelines, forecasts, and closed-deals to ensure quota attainment
- Manage the sales funnel from lead to close and create metrics to improve performance
- Drive lead penetration, high activity standards, and pipeline management
- Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly team forecasts
- Participate in hiring and interviewing process, as well as training and ramp-up of new team members
You Are:
- Experienced in 4-7 years as a sales professional, with a heavy emphasis on pipeline generation and managing longer, high complexity sales cycles
- Passionate about coaching others with experience managing a high performing Sales team for a B2B technology company
- Confident in selling to C-level executives in the IT space
- Comfortable setting quotas and managing people against those quotas
- Proven in your success with a strong track record as an individual contributor and can share relevant and complex closing experience with a growing team
- Able to sit up to 6 hours, traveling to and from client sites
- Able to travel via auto, train or air up to 50% of the time

These considerations potentially can cause your compensation to vary.
The Manager, Mid-Market has an annual starting salary of $110,000.00, plus variable compensation and a competitive equity package.
