In order to achieve our mission to serve 1000s more students and accelerate our growth, we recently raised a $21M Series B round with top tier investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, Redpoint Ventures, Social Capital, Harrison Metal, and Cowboy Ventures. Now, we’re looking to add a Manager of Inside Sales to the team.

The Manager of Inside Sales will manage one of the Enrollment Services teams (Student Financial Center, Education Coaches, or Enrollment Services Advisors) in their day-to-day execution of their jobs as well as partnering with cross-functional colleagues to drive continuous improvement to Enrollment Services Key Outcomes, including conversion rate, start rate, employee retention, and others.

A day in our open, collaborative workspace will look a little like this:

  • Collaborating effectively with Enrollment Services colleagues to improve the performance of all teams and individuals
  • Partnering with cross-functional colleagues to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Enrollment Services team members, collaborating to create process and program improvements, and implementing change
  • Advocating for student enrollment, retention, and success to internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyzing data to constantly improve admissions policies and processes
  • Overseeing relevant billing and financial operations in partnership with Guild’s Finance team
  • Supervising employees and working with them to develop new talent and progress and enhance existing talent
  • Coordinating marketing, enrollment, and coaching for new programs with existing partners
  • Asking the questions that will help you help the team continuously improve our outcomes
  • Supervising a team of Education Coaches including call review, scheduling, performance improvement, and systems/tools usage to drive excellent outcomes and continuous improvement

In this role, you’ll grow and expand your expertise by:

  • Taking on a cross-functional role that will expose you to the ins and outs of Guild
  • Showing leadership by solving unique, complex problems across our enrollment team
  • Participating in the development of prototype processes to improve key outcomes

You’ll know if you’re successful by:

  • Achieving established enrollment goals
  • Developing productive relationships with Guild’s partners by meeting deadlines, rapidly solving issues, and collaborating on opportunities for enrollment growth and improvement
  • Launching new programs to meet our corporate partners’ and university partners’ needs
  • Improving student acceptance, retention, and completion rates
  • Launching new university and non-traditional partners and programs to meet growing client and student demands
  • Driving high employee satisfaction and employee retention rates
  • Receiving feedback through our learning-focused twice annual Structured Growth Conversations
