Stillwater Brands was founded in 2015 when our co-founder’s grandmother asked him to get her a pot brownie. Realizing that grandma cared more about feeling better than getting stoned, our founders set out to develop functional cannabinoid-infused food and beverage products that alleviated the aches and anxieties of everyday life without tipping people into unwanted intoxication or forcing them to self-identify as “drug users.”
About the Job:
We are looking for a Key Account Manager to drive and maintain long-term, strategic partnerships in the Colorado Recreational Cannabis Market.
As a Key Account Manager, you will be the main point of contact for all major chain accounts in Colorado. We will trust your expertise in identifying and communicating brand partnership opportunities to maximize both short term growth, and long term brand building. You have a proven track record in growing sales and you LOVE the RIPPLE Brand. This is a fast-paced role that requires the highest level of work ethic, quick-on-your-feet out-of-the-box thinking, collaborative mentality, and a passion for driving results. Most importantly you have a high level of integrity that you bring into everything you do. You must be comfortable operating strategically under uncertainty, as we face a constantly changing regulatory landscape that presents both our biggest obstacle and greatest opportunity.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Embodying High Performance Driven Sales Leadership, driving top-notch sales results across our brand portfolio
Responsible for driving distribution and volume growth in key accounts in the Colorado market
Developing and managing quarterly programming designed to grow market share in both the short and long term
Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with key buyers
Strategically partnering with your accounts to create marketing opportunities that foster mutual benefit
Having a pulse on the market; you will know what our competitors are doing and what we should be doing
Providing analytics and insights; driving data driven solutions to grow distribution and share
Consistently executing sales KPIs including promotional strategies, display programs, budtender training and event management
Working with the Marketing team on implementing customer-facing marketing strategies and then analyzing trends and results
Identifying, consulting, and implementing opportunities that will move business forward in your accounts
Working closely with fulfillment and customer support to ensure customer satisfaction

Base Compensation: $70-$80k with OTE based on hitting sales KPIs

Qualifications:
5+ years of Key Account Management or Sales Management experience in the THC or CPG industries.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current MED Badge
Ability to travel between 2 - 4 days a month to various parts of Colorado, including the ability to stay overnight
Ability to use modeling, planning, and analytics to drive sales
Advanced skills in working with CRM systems and the suite of Google products
Able to work on the road and be accountable for ones time and workload
