SendGrid is looking for a highly motivated sales development representative to support our senior and strategic account executives. What You'll Do
- Live by and champion our cultural values of Happy, Hungry, Honest, and Humble
- Work with the head of business development and existing partner development managers to establish a prioritized strategy for systematically contacting relevant partners in targeted market
- Obtain contact information for key people at prospective partners and initiating email and phone contact with them
- Actively look for new methods for engaging collaboratively with digital agencies in an entrepreneurial way
- Create well-coordinated and compelling partner outreach, proposals and presentations that address a partner’s needs
- Become an expert at presenting how email and SendGrid’s platform can help an agency improve their business processes and service offerings.
- Keep track of plan and maintain an up to date database of deal progress and development in the CRM system
- Support partner development managers efforts and strategies
- Attend calls with prospects; handle the handoff/introduction to the PDM
- Attain and exceed all goals by setting appointments with qualified leads through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn and other methods
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain prospect information in SalesForce.com
- Ensure partners are exposed to all SendGrid solutions and services
- Attain weekly and monthly activity goals and partner sign-up goals

About You
- 1-3 years of work experience in a related role (business development, account/project management or client/customer service)
- Business and program manager oriented
- Flexible and adapts to change easily, ability to work well in a fast paced, team environment
- Exceptional and persuasive communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to quickly develop relationship and establish credibility through consultative needs based conversation
- Ability to think on your feet to creatively solve our partner’s business needs
- Must have a positive attitude, confident, and desire to be the best
- Experience with SalesForce.com preferred
- 4- year college degree is highly preferred
