Inside Sales Representative
Your Mission

As our Inside Sales Rep, you’ll be responsible for scaling the growth of our direct customer channel while working with small business owners to provide them the support they need. Our sales team finds answers to every question, smiles in the face of adversity and can talk to anyone!
How You’ll Do It
As an Inside Sales Rep at Pie, you will be calling leads from our lead database, setting appointments, and maintaining our lead and prospect systems. The right person has a minimum of 1 year of inside sales experience, technology acumen, and a history of collaborating with and supporting fellow team members. This position is geared toward self-starters who are highly driven individuals. This role is right for those who are not afraid to make the calls and establish the relationships necessary for generating the business.
There’s a good bit of firefighting in our highly dynamic startup environment. Expect challenges and rapid problem-solving while helping us build something awe-inspiring.

The Right Stuff
- Receive inbound calls from potential customers and make outbound calls to warm leads who want to talk to us (NO cold calling)
- Qualify prospects through a series of questions to understand their business needs
- Partner with the underwriting team to ensure the correct policy can be written
- Present policy and close deal
