Job Description

One of our best strategies for charging toward this mission is to bring on more customers so that we can aid them in expanding their impact. We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Manager who is inspired by this mission and passionate about developing sales talent. Our Sales Manager needs to be a strong sales leader who is an expert coach and mentor, a great analyst, with a track record of producing results via direct and indirect sales channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team Leadership:

  • Empower and manage a team of sales closers
  • Create a passionate culture of success by exceeding sales objectives
  • Provide professional development for all sales team members
  • Partner with the marketing team to define strategy, and act as marketing liaison
  • Become an expert on all of Zen Planner’s product and service offerings
  • Develop a deep understanding of gym best practices and our competitive landscape

Sales Performance & Enablement:

  • Execute sales plan, monitor progress of objectives, & adjust as necessary
  • Execute training curriculum & team trainings to improve sales results
  • Assist the Sales Development Team Lead in the development of our SDR program & people
  • Develop & teach scenario specific talk tracks to improve conversion rates
  • Regularly shadow sales reps and hold 1:1 coaching sessions
  • Proactively manage staffing to ensure adequate capacity to meet the growth plan

Sales Operations:

  • Use dashboards and analytics to enhance sales strategy
  • Sales forecasting and goal setting
  • Execute special incentive programs to drive sales results
  • Contribute to the optimization & efficiency of the sales process

Qualifications

  • Must have at least three years of Inside Sales experience with a SaaS product
  • Extremely results-oriented leader who also likes to have fun
  • Proven ability to select and manage high-performing resources and teams (we want to see your results!)
  • Excellent team building and management skills
  • Experience with CRMs and sales enablement tools, especially salesforce.com
  • The ability to make effective decisions under pressure and to manage consequences
  • Ability to translate business objectives to work tasks
  • Experience with lead qualification and lead management strategy and execution

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • Passion for fitness or sports: i.e. CrossFit, Martial Arts, Yoga, etc.
  • Direct sales experience on a highly leveraged compensation model
