The Opportunity

As a Goldfire Inside Sales Rep at IHS Markit you will be responsible for managing our software maintenance renewal contracts, supporting our team of outside Account Managers and working tirelessly to increase the opportunity pipeline. You will be the first hire as we build this new team, so we are looking for fresh perspectives, new ideas, unrelenting drive for success and someone looking to grow their professional career. You will be working out of our beautiful Boulder, Colorado office with all the typical benefits that only a Boulderite would understand!

 

The Team

The Goldfire sales team is a small, elite group of enterprise software professionals within the greater IHS Markit ecosystem. We share ideas and help each other navigate roadblocks standing in the way of our success. We are open and communicative and believe two heads are always better than one. We work hard and play hard and are relentless in successfully achieving our professional and personal goals while remaining grounded through work life balance.

 

The Skill Set

  • 3+ years of Inside Sales / Lead Development experience, preferably in high tech industry
  • Good knowledge of sales process / lead development / forecasting
  • Record of consistently crushing quota
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with minimum ramp-up time needed
  • Able to work with a diverse Outside Sales team
  • Excellent communicator who is clear, concise and to the point
  • Problem solver that meets challenges with suggestions

 

The Extra Credit

  • Experience selling technical software such as Cognitive Search, Enterprise Search, Business Intelligence, Knowledge Management or PLM systems
  • Knowledge with Salesforce CRM
  • Avid skier/snowboarder
