Right now, we have an immediate opportunity on a newly built team that will focus on our Partners and Industry Relations at Vertafore. This new team will help to formalize our Partner Program, manage relationships with our existing partners as well as oversee the process for establishing new Partners and even recruit new Partners to join the program.
Our Industry Relations and Partnership Specialist will:
- Establish productive relationships with key Partners who have developed an integration to a Vertafore solution.
- Manage the relationship with our existing partners through regular communication outreach .
- Develop and execute our process to responding to incoming new Partner requests.
- Identify and recruit potential new Partners.
- Research industry trends and report back to Vertafore leadership team on the impact to our customers.
- Attend virtual industry events to keep up on the latest trends in the insurance market.
- Manage the process in collecting and maintaining information on the competitive landscape for the Vertafore solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Product Management and Sales, to identify ways to improve our Partner experience
Requirements:
- College degree preferred or equivalent years of relevant experience working on an established Partner program required
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Client-focused and motivated to solve their problems
- Able to build productive working relationships internally and externally and be a team player
- Aptitude for learning
- Ability to work on an emerging team where the structure is still being defined
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Technically proficient – advanced knowledge of: Word, Excel, MS Office, PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to accomplish individual and team goals through personal organization and time management
- Insurance or Financial Services Industry experience is a plus
