SwipedOn is a fast-growing tech startup from New Zealand. We've developed a cloud-based visitor management platform that enables businesses to replace their paper visitor books and digitise their visitor registration experience.

SwipedOn is comprised of a web-based admin dashboard and an iOS application that is distributed via the Apple app store.

The future of SwipedOn is looking exciting. The company has seen rapid growth over the last couple of years, with thousands of users in over 50 countries. The business continues to expand and has a mix of 17 full-time staff located in New Zealand and South Africa. We are now looking to better serve our customers and have someone join us in the United States, in Boulder CO.

 

Inbound sales & support associate role

The inbound sales & support role has been created to help us better convert new leads into paying customers, assist our existing paying customers where needed and provide technical product support to our customer base. This role will contribute to SwipedOn improving it’s customer support response time, increase lead conversion and increase its US presence. This role will be working collaboratively as part of the global team, most likely from a shared co-working space.

 

About you

You’ll be a fierce advocate for exceptional sales and customer service and enjoy the challenge of working with different customers to solve their problems. You may be a new graduated from University and or have 1-2 years experience in sales. Along the way you’ll be following up with new leads, calling potential customers and offering creative solutions to help convert new leads into business.

You are:

  • A recent graduate from university or have at least 1 year of proven experience in a sales environment, position, associate or similar

  • Have a basic understanding of sales concepts and methodologies, and be motivated to learn more

  • Understand and own the skills required to manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities.

  • Passionate about startups and enjoy finding ways to simplify the buying and selling process.

  • Confident in calling customers (warm leads) and able to demonstrate software in person or online



 

Tasks and responsibilities

In this role you will;

  • Manage a pipeline of leads with the goal of converting leads into new customers

  • Effectively solve customer support and sales enquiries via phone, email, live chat, CRM

  • Provide technical and product support for our customers

  • Provide sales information for leads visiting our website, or any other direct channel of communication

  • Support customer requests for technical support during trial periods

  • Analyse trends in customer issues and suggest improvements to processes, policies, and products

 

Qualifications

You’ll have

  • A university bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification

  • English fluency, both spoken and written

  • Strong organisational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with evidence of previous customer service experience, sales experience and with SaaS sales experience being highly regarded

  • Ability to customise the support experience to the needs of individual customers

  • Coachable mindset, interested in implementing continuous feedback

  • Flexibility in mindset and resilient when facing rapid change

  • Superb attention to detail

  • Ability to manage conflict, proposition customers and say nowhere appropriate

  • A desire to help people and improve the customer experience

 

Reporting lines

  • The inbound sales and support associate role will report to the sales and customer success lead manager.

 

Hours of work

This is a full-time (40/hr week) position.  The approximate work schedule is 8:00 AM MST to 5:00 PM MST, five days per week.  Your schedule is subject to change based on business needs and may require you to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
