Summary/Objective: We are seeking a Housing Coordinator to work directly with our client, Fresenius Medical Care, in Waltham, MA. This person will have a strong customer service background, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail. The Housing Coordinator will sit in Fresenius’ corporate headquarters in Waltham, MA and will be responsible for sourcing, securing, and booking hotel & housing reservations and manage the entire hotel/housing booking process. They will work directly with FMCNA Travel Nursing Division and traveling healthcare professionals to understand the specific requirements of each request in addition to the Hotel Engine support team to handle any issues that arise. Additionally, this person will work with their counterpart at our sister company, to help service short-term housing needs.

Essential Functions:

  • Communicate with FMCNA Travel Nursing Division and traveling professionals to understand the requirements for each hotel/housing request
  • Receive customer hotel/housing requests from FMCNA Travel Nursing Division and search for the best fit options for consideration
  • Present multiple hotel/housing options to client highlighting the key differentiators and benefits of each
  • Responsible for booking and managing hotel/housing reservations via the booking platform
  • Provide the client personal touches such as move-in packages or dialogue about how they’re enjoying the housing provided
  • Maintain consistent communication with client to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Responsible for providing back-up documentation for reporting and accounting purposes
  • Responsible for negotiating (30+ day) long term housing rates
  • Will be cross trained to help support Housing Coordinator at sister company

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university
  • Minimum 2 years in a client facing role or account management role
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools
  • Knowledge or experience with travel booking software and Salesforce is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
