Head of North America Sales Executives - Corporate Solutions at Markit Digital
The NA Head of Sales Executive team within the Issuer Solutions Segment will be a member of the high growth sales team within IHS Markit In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of companies who lead, innovate and disrupt their respective industries.
As NA Head of Sales Executive, you are a critical part of our team. Your job will be to mentor, coach, and upskill new SE's on your team. You will also have to recruit, train and ramp new SE's. This role will specifically sell into new logos and as such requires a hunter mentality, boldness, creativity, resiliency, charisma, a competitive spirit, and exceptional communication & presentation skills.

Here are some of the core responsibilities of the role:
- Demonstrate mastery of IHS's product suite in order to design a solution that solves customer's Investor Relations/Capital Markets challenge(s)
- Develop and execute on regional management strategic plan for your team of SE's
- Responsible for both inbound leads and outbound sales efforts
- Execute outbound sales strategies through collaboration with your Sales Executives and Marketing teams
- Be entrepreneurial -- stay current with industry news to develop marketing initiatives and create client events to attract prospects
- Utilize sales enablement tools (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Chorus, Outreach, etc.) to create professional, tailored prospecting strategies for your team
- Work closely with NA Head of Sales and Global Head of Sales on building strategic initiatives and GTM plans
Education and Experience:
- 10-15 years relevant experience in financial services software sales
- 1-5 years' experience in sales leadership, coaching and mentoring
- Ability to solve complex problems using in-depth sales and industry expertise
- History of diversified financial services leadership experience in driving and implementing revenue growth initiatives.
- Established senior level relationships with asset management firms, insurance firms, pension funds, wealth managers, hedge funds and outsourcers
- Experience in long cycle solution sales with complex contract negotiation
- Effective communication skills in conversational speech, writing, and public speaking; a personable and diplomatic attitude
- Skilled in combining longer-term strategic thinking with a hands-on, proactive approach to achieving nearer-term results.
- Bachelor's degree required
- Willingness to Travel regionally
