Head of Client Partnerships
We are excited to announce the role of Head of Client Partnerships for our Polk Automotive Solutions business unit. This position is slated for U.S. coverage, with future possibilities for international expansion. The role will report directly to the Vice President and General Manager of Polk Automotive Solutions and will be an active and integral member of the Polk Automotive Solutions leadership team.
The Head of Client Partnerships will develop and lead sales efforts across all U.S. OEMs and their agencies of our Polk Automotive Solutions’ industry-leading data-driven marketing opportunities.
Responsibilities
Build a team and sales practice to drive the Polk Automotive Solutions offerings across Auto OEMs, Tier 2 Auto, Auto Affiliate Industries, and their agencies.
Establish organizational framework to maximize opportunity.
Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders from client and agency.
Act as industry voice for Polk Automotive Solutions to our client base.
Deliver sales against an established quota for direct marketing, email, digital, TV, and social channels.
Align initiatives on a regular basis with IHS Markit Automotive sales organization.
Primary products include Polk Audiences and Polk Demand Signals.
Develop sales structure to drive success.
Develop enterprise subscription Data-as-a-Service model for clients and agencies
Establish, track, and report key sales metrics for demand activation at the agency level
Manage and report on pipeline of opportunities for the business
Regularly work with sales operations to collaborate on financial forecasting and reporting
Establish annual budgets for the business and sales quotas for your team
Provide feedback loop to product and marketing organizations to ensure ample presence.
Determine marketing strategy needs for your client base, including paid and earned media requirements, event presence, and other thought leadership initiatives
Work with clients and our marketing team on joint marketing, press, case studies, etc.
Provide regular feedback to product teams as voice-of-customer to influence roadmap and enhancements
Develop appropriate team structure to support client partnerships’ needs.
Establish and recommend appropriate team structure for current and future needs
Identify open head requirements and needs
Recruit and hire to develop team to support the business
Establish framework to collaborate closely with Customer Success, Partnerships & BD, and Tier 3 sales.
Ongoing communication and cadence with customer success team to ensure alignment with client needs
Constant collaboration with Tier 3 sales team and Partnerships/BD team

10+ years in automotive media, ad tech, or data sales, calling on auto OEMs and their agencies
5+ years of sales management within the industry
Established key relationships throughout the auto industry
Strong knowledge of, and interest in, Automotive marketing landscape
Strong written and verbal communications with an aptitude for presenting thoughts and ideas to all levels of internal and external stakeholders
Works to build consensus across groups with competing priorities
Persuasive with details and facts
Excellent computer skills and proficient in all Microsoft Office and Salesforce applications
