Overview

Four Winds Interactive seeks a Hardware Representative to work with the Hardware Design Engineering team.  This position will be the primary owner of creating hardware quotes as well as leading quotes through completion of internal processes and client signature. This collaborative position will work with customers, sales, customer success and implementation resources to conceptualize the physical aspects of the signage solutions for both client review and to meet FWI Design Specifications.  The candidate will engage the customer remotely to establish Design Specifications that provide continuity, capability, and solution definition though the entire customer’s lifecycle.  Four Winds Interactive seeks a winning attitude, team player, and the type of person that takes initiative to get things done.

 

Responsibilities

  • Function and Subject Matter Expert in the Audio Video design, quote and build process.
  • Builds physical signage quotes and chooses what products are used, how are they connected, and installed.
  • Work closely with sales, customer success, customer, and/or consultant in understanding and defining customer requirements.
  • Work closely with Hardware Product Management and Hardware Solutions to identify, scope, and productize appropriate hardware solution sets for current and future customers.
  • Meet regularly as part of Hardware Approval team, and work in conjunction with, to conduct equipment research on new and existing technology to support ongoing customer requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews with sales, customer success and customer(s).
  • Proactively seek feedback and continuously evaluate FWI solutions scoped.
  • Acts as post-sales support to, and coordinates with, FWI professional services teams in order to complete work.
  • Contributes to team effort through collaboration, support, and accomplishing results, including active and ongoing participation in the peer review process.
  • The position manages a pipeline of small opportunities simultaneously moving them effectively through the sales cycle to close.
  • Conducts client and team presentations.
  • Travel required throughout United States, 10-25%.
  • Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements for Success:

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, display systems, and mounting solutions
  • Demonstrated track record using innovative and analytical skills to solve customer needs
  • Highly organized and capable of balancing multiple projects concurrently
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Visio or equivalent software
  • Past experience translating client requirements and consider practical solutions
  • Attention to detail and experienced proof-reading technical documentation
  • Strong presentation and speaking skills, familiar presenting in front of customers strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work within a specific budget and timeline
  • Proven ability to collaborate in a mature and respectful way
  • Flexibility
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Helpful for Success:

  • CPQ or other software used to manage the quote process
  • Hardware technical acumen and ability to recommend optimal hardware options
  • AVIXA CTS certification preferred.

The compensation package will be aligned to each candidate’s experience and qualifications. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
