Position Description
This role is an integral part of the overall global reach network, has the responsibility for establishing, managing, maintaining key partnerships with strategic local providers. In addition, the role is responsible for acting as the SME for a specific Global Reach market.
Responsibilities
- Quoting
- Products: Colocation, Wavelengths, Ethernet, IP and Dark Fiber
- Requesting Type II quotes from vendors in LATAM, APAC, MEA
- Optimization
- Renewal pricing negotiation
- Network Optimization Savings – working with the Optimization team
- Maintain Vendor Contact information (400+ vendors)
- Google document for all Vendor Contacts, current vendor MSAs
- Cross Connect Charges
- ETL
- Building lists and best network aggregation points
- Pricing Sheets
- Ordering Procedures
- Escalation POC for SDCs, SEs and Billing Team
- Expense Builder process/Docusign
- Confirm EBs match Vendor Orders
- Governing contract is linked for reporting and SLA compliance
- Request signature on orders by PG leads, sending to SDCs to manage to completion
- Reporting/KPIs
- Facilitate the quarterly vendor review process
- Maintain/analyze a comprehensive KPI data base via Salesforce Einstein
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 Years Telecom Experience
- Experience with SalesForce a plus
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills are required
- Strong sense of teamwork.
- Must possess excellent analytical, judgement and decision making sills with the ability to adapt to change
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload efficiently and effectively with the ability to multi-task
- Must be a high energy individual, who is self-motivated with a strong work ethic
