Position summary

 

This position is within the commercial, sales and account management function for Integrated Reporting in region.

This main responsibility of this role will be growth of the business. This is achieved through setting and hitting sales plans, renewal targets, client engagement metrics, market intelligence and strong partnership with other IHSM business lines.

Product coverage includes the solution suites for Regulatory Reporting.

This is a challenging role and will give a successful candidate the opportunity to work closely with key personnel of major dealers, financial market infrastructures, industry associations, and regulators and contribute to the industry as a whole.

 

Duties & accountabilities

  • Design and execute the Integrated Reporting growth plan in the US with particular focus on sales  and distribution
  • Align the targets with both regional and global requirement across the firm
  • Identify and effectively target addressable markets for Integrated Reporting.
  • Drive the sales process and sales teams to reach and exceed these targets
  • Personally originate new deals as well as assist and partner team members to close deals
  • Ensure processes, training and on-going CRM usage is of the highest quality across the US sales team for Integrated Reporting.
  • Partner product teams to design and document price books across all product lines that will maximise revenue and margin
  • Partner marketing and product teams regarding go to market strategies in the US.
  • Jointly execute events such as roundtables and conferences with Marketing and product
  • Provide client intelligence into all product localisation and development initiatives in the US.
  • Partner implementation teams on smooth on-boarding of new clients
  • Partner legal teams to ensure best practice and robust processes and training for all sales staff
  • Help position all MarkitSERV platforms to drive growth in region

 

Business personal competencies

  • University graduate
  • Proven experience winning and closing business in US
  • Hunger, curiosity and drive to succeed
  • Expert is usage of CRM platforms
  • Strong problem-solving skills are advantage
  • Knowledge of OTC derivatives regulations is advantage
