Entry Level Sales

| Greater Denver Area

Think about your typical weekend. Are you the person in your group of friends who rallies everyone for an early hike or workout class, or motivates yourself for a sunrise run? When you’re bowling, playing mini golf, or locked in a heated game of Monopoly, do you get competitive and play for keeps? Now imagine yourself in line for security at the airport. Are you the type of person who gets personal satisfaction for picking the fastest lane? If you answered yes to all of these questions, then the MDR role may be the perfect fit for you.

The MDR team is the first point of contact for many of our new customers. This outbound sales team is responsible for placing a high volume of calls to connect with fitness business owners. Their goal for these calls is to hold great conversations and in the process, gauge each owner’s interest and fit in using Zen Planner to run their business. The MDR team is pleasantly persistent and competitive but not cutthroat.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver a high volume of outbound calls daily to cold & warm prospects
  • Adopt our consultative, low-pressure sales methodology
  • Quickly assess the potential fit of a prospect to determine the viability of the sales opportunity
  • Become an expert on our technology and our target markets
  • Set up product demonstration appointments for the Inside Sales team
  • Achieve daily, weekly and monthly metrics and quotas
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to constantly develop skills and improve delivery
  • Build strong networks in and outside the organization
  • Collaborate with the team to develop better solutions to our processes
  • Approach all daily responsibilities with an open mind and quickly adapt to changes in processes  

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrate a high level of ownership and accountability for all daily, weekly and monthly targets
  • Make a high volume of phone calls daily (100+ dial target)
  • Efficient in computer and software skills for research, documentation, and information management
  • Confident, enthusiastic phone personality 
  • Ability to educate prospects in a consultative manner
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Resilient to the realities of an outbound sales role (e.g. Consistent rejection)
  • Reliable, strong and positive work ethic 
  • Six months to one year of post-collegiate work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred 

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • Passion for fitness or sports: i.e. CrossFit, Personal Training, Athletics, Martial Arts, or Yoga/Pilates
  • Prior experience as a fitness instructor, coach, personal trainer
  • Prior experience using member management software, CRMs, marketing automation software, Excel
