Role:
The Sales & Services OPS organization is seeking a Director or Sr Manager of Sales Operations responsible for managing cross functional engagements to define and lead the development of systems, process, and tools business requirements. The successful candidate must have in-depth experience with SaaS sales processes, SFDC, CPQ, Support and CS tools. This role is critical to driving operational efficiencies, standardization and adoption of sales processes and tools, enabling our ability to scale to a multi-billion dollar business.
Main areas of responsibility:
- Manage a team of Sales Ops Mgrs. and Business Analysts responsible for working with stakeholders to define system and operational requirements
- Work with the cross functional teams to develop and prioritize investments of new capabilities to optimize sales performance
- Drive operational standardization and efficiencies to scale a global business
- Lead the assessment and adoption of all processes and tools used by the sales, services and support organizations to include but not limited to; CRM (salesforce.com), customer success management (Gainsight), forecasting (Aviso), prospecting tools (OutreachIO), lead routing (LeanData), LMS and business intelligence tools
- Responsible for driving the adoption and maintaining a consistent view of utilization
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to optimize system & tools ROI
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards for key stakeholders
- Work with Marketing Operations to ensure effective go-to-market coordination, campaign management, and lead routing performance
- Manage stakeholders relationships, providing consistent status of key projects and initiatives
- Lead and develop a high performance global team - recruit, hire, train, coach
- Participate in Annual Operational Plans (AOP) and Long-Range Business Plans (LRBP)
- Demonstrate a high level of responsiveness with senior executives and key stakeholders
- Ability to develop and present data driven business plans and analysis
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations leadership with a deep focus on sales systems, process, and tools. Must have High Tech, preferably SaaS exp.
- Experience in analyzing sales processes, understanding use cases for key systems and developing business requirements
- In-depth understanding of product and software development life cycles, release management and UAT processes
- Extensive Program and Project Management skills with ability to develop others
- Process Improvement and Six Sigma experience
- Familiarity with a wide variety of routes to market (inside, field, channel, and strategic partner sales) and segments (SMB, commercial, enterprise) in multiple geographies (North America, EMEA, APJ)
- Experience working with offshore resources is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, conflict / resolution management, active listening, time management, and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers of all levels
- Experience identifying areas for process improvement and driving solutions
- Ability to work independently and in ambiguous situations
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Management experience required
- Advanced time management skills including ability to handle multiple projects with aggressive deadlines
- Bachelor's degree required, Masters is desirable
