As a key member of our national Sales Team, the Director, Strategic Partner Business Development will be a top performing partner-relationship builder with established relationships and a strong growth record with key stakeholders within the partner community; extensive prior experience driving partner sales; and understands the competitive marketplace that exists for IntelePeer within this community. S/he will focus on developing and growing the IntelePeer relationship and revenue with high tech solution providers in the indirect channel space.
REPORTS TO: VP of Strategic Partnerships
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages strategic partner relationships on a national scale
  • Owns all aspects of relationship between IntelePeer and partner
  • Expanding, deepening the overall IntelePeer relationship within the targeted partner relationship
  • Strive to capture fair share of partner's business that directly relates to what IntelePeer has to offer
  • Articulate IntelePeer's value in the market/Competitive positioning
  • Manages vendor relationship teams/partner's programmatic parameters/partner program
  • Manages MDF budget for partner to maximize ROI
  • Engages appropriate field teams at IntelePeer for joint selling efforts, support and engagement
  • Identify a shared vision & alignment on partnership objectives, in order to, create and maintain joint business plans with target partner(s)
  • Grows IntelePeer partner revenue at or above market CAGR rates
  • CEO ready materials
  • Executive relationships within target partner's organization
  • Define incentives & KPIs to support partnership with quarterly business reviews to confirm incentives / KPIs met
  • Responsible for clear messaging to the IntelePeer sales teams on partners selling objective per opportunity to ensure proper alignment


REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years' experience in channel management.
  • Experience selling SaaS products is highly preferred.
  • 10+ years' experience in the Communications/Software Industry; influencing Cloud Solution customer buying behaviors and trends highly preferable
  • Knowledge of positioning various communication technologies: Omnichannel communications: Voice, SMS, Email, Social, Cloud Contact Center Solutions, Unified Communications Solutions, SaaS, VOIP/SIP
  • Strong and established relationships with the Leadership, Sales, and Support teams with top performing indirect sales agents that have resulted in sales and revenue generation
  • Demonstrated track record of success: meeting and exceeding sales and revenue growth targets; interacting with customers at all organizational levels; managing RFP responses; negotiating and closing high value deals; establishing and managing customer expectations; influencing and collaborating across organizational boundaries
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Proficient in customer relationship management (CRM) software; Salesforce preferred

Compensation

  • The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position who is based in Colorado is generally within the range of $115,000 -120,000 for annual base salary. Employees are eligible for additional discretionary bonuses and commissions pursuant to the Company's commission plan. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
