What You'll Do

  • As the Director of Strategic Accounts at GoSpotCheck, you will lead, coach, and empower our team of Strategic Account Executives who support our key customers. The SAE's are responsible for retaining and expanding key GoSpotCheck customers across all the verticals we serve. You will partner closely with our Customer Success organization to help deliver an ROI on our platform, and understand expanding customer needs. You’ll manage your team against an expansion goal as well as a retention goal.

What We'll Achieve

  • With your leadership, we’ll elevate our customer experience by fostering deeper relationships with key stakeholders, reducing churn and opening new opportunities.
  • We’ll strengthen our expansion forecasting abilities, and align the team towards activities that support this team’s goals.
  • We’ll proactively identify and swiftly address risks to Enterprise Accounts.
  • We’ll provide transparency to our Senior Management and Executive Team regarding the current health, historic trends and outlook of our Enterprise portfolio.
  • We’ll hit our customer expansion and retention goals.
  • We’ll build out a strong and scalable Strategic Account Team through your thoughtful hiring, training, and coaching.

Who You Are

  • You have 3-5 years of people management experience leading a “farming” or expansion Sales team.
  • You’ve been in your team’s shoes before, directly managing and selling into a $1 million+ portfolio of Strategic Enterprise Customers.
  • You believe a critical measure of your success as a manager is your ability to retain and contribute to the professional growth of your team through coaching and training, managing requirements, and helping define pipeline goals.
  • You are comfortable working directly with a variety of internal teams on defining the scope of your team’s work, developing the product pipeline based on customer feedback, and escalating both wins and concerns to our Senior Management team.
  • Your knowledge and experience on account retention will help your team retain Strategic accounts, identify and close new expansion opportunities, and level up the GoSpotCheck product based on customer feedback.
  • You understand a scaling organization brings changes and iterations, and are open to helping define and iterate processes regularly!
  • You’re customer-centric - You have no trouble being the point of contact for customer escalations and can help manage the expectations of customers on your team’s behalf.
  • You’re comfortable with occasional travel to client sites throughout the US.
  • You’re a quick study and can incorporate industry/vertical-specific jargon in your communication with customers.
  • You have completed a bachelor’s degree. Bonus points for anything beyond that!You appreciate and align with our company values.
