Selling today via inside sales to smaller customers like Giv’r, Dims, and Paravel Bags with an ACV of around $10,000 - 25,000, and via outside sales to larger brands like Glossier, Beardbrand, and Arfa with an ACV of around $50,000 (and growing!)
Recently raised over $5 mm in capital to accelerate growth
Responsibilities of the Director of Sales::
Build, manage and develop a high-performance SaaS sales team
Create a methodical, data-driven sales process to grow pipeline and close new business across both mid-market and enterprise customer segments
Be both a coach and a player to lead key in-person client presentations, discover sessions, product dmos and proposals to large prospects
Engage with prospects to understand their unique and specific pain points and produce compelling business cases to meet their needs
Develop and implement a scalable sales process from prospecting/demand generation through contract execution
SDR’s and Account Executives as the company grows
Work with internal team members to ensure successful on-boarding and implementation for new clients, helping provide valuable user feedback
Leverage Copper CRM data to construct, forecast, and manage sales activity and drive pipeline to meet revenue targets and company goals
Share feedback from the field to shape the Company’s product roadmap and strategic direction
Work hand-in-hand with the founder and executive leadership team to grow the business and align sales strategy with overall company objectives
About You::
Experienced in building go-to-market strategy and sales plans though building, managing and growing multiple sales channels
Have significant experience and enjoy closing large deals with strategic, key accounts
Bring experience monitoring and evaluating sales rep progress against stated expectations, in addition to aligning and changing behavior with performance expectations
H Have managed a geographically dispersed team of salespeople
Use CRM to manage team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing data
Excel at recruiting, on-boarding, and coaching sales executives
Comfortable working in a high-growth startup environment
Lead with transparency, providing status reports with market and customer feedback to the executive leadership team
Deliver in all aspects of sales leadership
Know how to hire and motivate sales teams, build a winning culture, and know how to successfully scale a global sales organization, combining first-hand knowledge of what Sales at a hyper growth startup looks like with your execution chops to implement this vision
