In order to achieve our mission to serve 1000s more students and accelerate our growth, we recently raised a $21M Series B round with top tier investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, Redpoint Ventures, Social Capital, Harrison Metal, and Cowboy Ventures. Now, we’re looking to add a Director of Enrollment Services/Inside Sales to the team.

The Director of Enrollment Services/Inside Sales will manage the Enrollment Services team in their day-to-day execution of their jobs as well as partnering with cross-functional colleagues to drive continuous improvement to Enrollment Services Key Outcomes, including conversion rate, start rate, employee retention, and others.

A day in our open, collaborative workspace will look a little like this:

  • Engaging directly with Engineering, Academic Product, Student Services, Marketing, Data Services, and others to improve team outcomes
  • Connecting with Student Services, Finance, and Enterprise Sales/Client Success teams to collaboratively solve problems and identify areas of opportunity with individual students and also with business processes
  • Advocating for student enrollment, retention, and success to internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyzing data to constantly improve admissions policies and processes
  • Supervising a team of Education Coaches including call review, scheduling, performance improvement, and systems/tools usage to drive excellent outcomes and continuous improvement
  • Using data and visuals to motivate a sales team to achieve high volume productivity and increase conversion rates
  • Coordinating marketing, enrollment, and coaching for new programs with existing partners
  • Asking the questions that will help you help the team continuously improve our outcomes
  • Partnering with Client Success Team to launch new clients and ensure account enrollment growth by client, university partner, and for our Guild programs

In this role, you’ll grow and expand your expertise by:

  • Taking on a cross-functional role that will expose you to the ins and outs of Guild
  • Showing leadership by solving unique, complex problems across our Enrollment team
  • Participating in the development of prototype processes to improve key outcomes

You’ll know if you’re successful by:

  • Keeping your eye on immediate goals and needs as well as planning for the future including new tools for the team, clients coming down the pike, and improving cross-functional partnerships
  • Achieving established enrollment goals
  • Developing productive relationships with Guild’s partners by meeting deadlines, rapidly solving issues, and collaborating on opportunities for enrollment growth and improvement
  • Launching new programs to meet our corporate partners’ and university partners’ needs
  • Improving student acceptance, retention, and completion rates
  • Launching new university and non-traditional partners and programs to meet growing client and student demands
  • Driving high employee satisfaction and employee retention rates
  • Receiving feedback through our learning-focused twice annual Structured Growth Conversations
