    The position leads an internal support team that enables and empowers our front line to deliver a reliable, consistent and continuously improving customer experience and supports effective execution on DigitalGlobe revenue and bookings targets. A background in geospatial markets, enterprise platform markets, and geospatial/enterprise business models is strongly desired. The candidate must be flexible and able to work both in teams, and independently. They must be an organized, self-starter comfortable engaging business and technology decision makers within DigitalGlobe, within partner organizations, and with potential customers. This role will be critical in designing, managing and delivering sales compensation plans, improving data and analytics, supporting product integration, improving process and systems, training and developing the customer facing team, aligning with the voice of the customer and engage teams.

    Responsibilities:

    • Performs budgeting, planning and analysis activities for the sales department including incentive modeling
    • Develop and enable the success of a high performing team through engagement of sales leadership in development and communication of effective, motivating sales incentive structures
    • Reviews capital expenditures and analyzes sales related expenses associated with such things as the order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales productivity and goal attainment.
    • Performs regular variance analysis for expenses and budgets.
    • Evaluates pricing structures to ensure fit with company objectives.  Effectively incorporates client delivery schedules and operational changes into future revenue forecasts and revenue timeline considerations.
    • Oversees the vendor relationship of third party commission management software and other sales technology tools such as enablement platform, 3rd party consultants as needed, Voice of Customer platform, etc.
    • Maintains and enhances sales force automation systems, product/service costing models and margin management tools/systems to effectively monitor and manager revenue/expenses
    • Unification of front line sales and customer support teams to best support the teams users
    • Identify and drive synergies with other MAXAR divisions to support a matrixed organization.
    • Create a culture of leadership that support our values and priorities.
    • Provide leadership that teaches, inspires, and promotes employee empowerment and career development.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Basic Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 15+ years overall experience, 5+ years leading a team specifically in the areas of sales, sales operations, sales analysts, customer support, etc.
    • Demonstrated ability to align with business leaders, deliver customer-directed solutions, sustain a 24/7 operational environment, and lead quality initiatives
    • Strong leadership, management, analytical, and communications skills
    • Program and project management competency
    • Excellent written and oral communication
    • Experience in selecting and managing strategic 3rd party vendors
    • US Citizenship

    Preferred Requirements

    • Masters preferred.
    • Technology or related industry experience
    • Experience working with Medallia, Voice of Customer Programs, Marketo and Xactly
    • Lean Six Sigma or PMP background/certifications
    • Geospatial product experience.

    • Position is located in Westminster, Colorado
