We are seeking a Director, Sales Operations and Enablement t o join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and the planet.
What you get to do:
Uplight is looking for an experienced sales operations leader to manage the sales operations and enablement teams essential for sales force productivity. These functions include planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales training, and sales program implementation. Working closely with the leaders of the Engage & Grow Pillar, cross-functionally with finance, product, and marketing, you will be critical to enabling Uplight's growth. Your team consists of sales engineers, operations analysts, enablement managers, proposal writers, and business development managers. The outputs enable the sales organization to prepare and execute complex opportunities and are critical to pipeline development and ongoing forecasting. Additionally, you are responsible for working closely with Uplight leaders to ensure that the sales directors have the appropriate processes, people, and systems in place to effectively and efficiently grow the organization.

  • Lead a team of people dedicated to sales enablement and sales growth.
  • Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization. Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization's planning efforts. As needed, coordinate planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the firm.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement. Work closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assist sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Implement enabling technologies, including CRM, to field sales teams. Monitor the assigned sales organization's compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data.
  • Develop and refine internal sales processes focused on appropriately tracking risk and approvals
  • Be accountable for the thorough implementation of the sales organization by impacting initiatives
  • Own responsibility for the efficient allocation of technology, support, and training resources impacting the sales organization.
  • Be accountable for accurate and on-time reporting essential for sales organization effectiveness.
  • Facilitate an organization of continuous process improvement.

What you bring to Uplight:

  • Strong alignment and passion for Uplight's values and mission.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce reliable results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in an enterprise software company.
  • 7+ years of sales operations
  • Experience in a pre-IPO SaaS company is a huge plus.
  • Expertise with Salesforce.com administration is a must, experience with Highspot is a plus.
  • People/team management experience.

Salary Range: $120,000 to $133,000
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
