What You’ll Do

We are seeking an Ops Rockstar looking to help take our company to the next level of growth and scale! Our ideal candidate is process focused, has experience in supporting a growing Sales & Marketing organization, and is looking to make strategic and tactical contributions that will set the stage for world-class, global operations. Our ideal candidate also strives for exceptional leadership and is someone that can partner cross-functionally. Reporting to the SVP of Sales, the Sales & Marketing Operations Director is a key member of the Sales Leadership team. Sales & Marketing Operations is a vital link between the Business key departments supporting the Business. The Sales & Marketing Ops Director will be instrumental in helping to drive and execute the sales strategy by developing policies, plans, processes, and systems for data-driven decision-making, analyses, and alignment across functions inside SurveyGizmo.

How You’ll Spend Your Days

  • Oversee the development, reporting, and automation of key performance metrics and dashboards to help drive revenue and optimize sales efficiency
  • Own and drive effective adoption and innovation in the core CRM system of record for SurveyGizmo.
  • Own, develop, and maintain marketing automation systems of record for SurveyGizmo such as Hubspot.
  • Create and develop sales policies that drive operational efficiency, compliance, and growth in bookings.
  • Manage ongoing programs and sales & marketing development projects to ensure team deadlines are met that tie to and relate to key marketing and sales operations initiatives.
  • Track and analyze key metrics from the top to the bottom of the SurveyGizmo funnel.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, and other key cross functional partners inside SurveyGizmo representing Operational needs and processes.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and professional development to direct-reports.
  • Develop the annual sales plan including GTM, sales coverage, territory & job design, incentive compensation and administration.
  • Facilitate the development and deployment of sales targets and quotas by tier and industry segment
  • Support a growing global sales presence with actionable analysis and insights partnering with FP&A, marketing, and customer success.
  • Facilitate a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and executing on opportunities for sales and marketing operations process enhancement, collaborating with cross functional teams such as marketing, product management, finance, support & customer success.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Salesforce.com reporting and dashboard skills
  • SFDC Certification
  • Marketing Operations and associated Demand Generation processes experience
  • Strong knowledge of Marketing Automation suites such as HubSpot, Marketo, Act-on, etc.
  • Knowledge of SaaS processes
  • Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Team orientated approach with strong leadership skills and collaborative workstyle
  • Analytical thinker and problem solver
  • Excel database skills
  • College or equivalent higher education degree preferred

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and or MBA preferred but not required
  • Proven track record of achieving goals and/or quotas, or other similar objectives
  • Ability to be a team player and perform in a fast-paced, inside sales oriented environment
  • Ability to see the big picture and still get work done day to day meeting key deadlines in a fast paced environment that is challenging yet rewarding
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Comfort with sales technology, CRM tools and marketing automation platforms
