Red Canary is a fast-growing company in the enterprise security market, helping companies of any size protect themselves against hackers, ransomware, and other threats. We’ve built a Sales Development team that supports North American and international sales, and are seeking a Director to lead the SDR team of over 20 reps and two managers. If you are an experienced SDR/ADR manager interested in taking a leading company to the next level, talk to us. In this role, you will be the top-level person responsible for effective lead handling. The Director of Sales Development reports directly to the CMO and is on the senior marketing leadership team.
What You'll Do
- Set processes and reporting for lead handling, prospecting, and handoff to account execs
- Ensure sales accepted opportunities are sourced in accordance with company targets for all direct market segments
- Design and create how SDRs and SDR Managers are compensated for all segments and experience levels, with an emphasis on quality
- Analyze market segment pipeline generation and partner with CMO & CRO to design, develop and execute a global people and direct/indirect (MSP) pipeline strategy
- Ensure we efficiently qualify and disqualify inbound demand
- Plan, forecast, and understand ramp adjusted capacity to ensure the team is grown effectively in tandem with the needs of our sales organization and the supply of inbound demand from marketing. Also, influence marketing to increase demand gen efforts through field and digital marketing strategies
- Manage risk, through global sales tooling practices and compliance regulations (GDPR and CAN-SPAM)
- Partner with revenue operations to influence and design a global tooling strategy to support an account based marketing and sales strategy to enable SDRs and Account Executives to do their best work, and generate qualified pipeline
- Develop paths for career advancement within the SDR Leadership, SDR functions as well as to closing sales roles, and roles outside of sales when necessary
- Coach and motivate SDRs and managers to exceed goals through coaching and incentives.
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated experience building and managing a sales/account development team in a fast-growing company
- Comfortable working with reports, metrics, and dashboards to manage results
- Curiosity and a drive for building and running successful go-to-market campaigns
- Ability to work with sales and marketing leadership as a peer
- Managed a team of at least 10 SDR/ADRs previously
Targeted base salary range: $120,000 - $175,000 + bonus eligibility and equity depending on experience.
