We're looking for a Director of Sales Development to directly manage Managers of Sales Development Representatives (SDR) - building, nurturing, motivating and enriching their team. Your team will be the entry point into the Wix Account Management team for new users, by assessing their needs, potential, and handing them off as warm leads to Account Executives. This team is also a breeding ground for future Account Executives talents within the Account Management organization.
You are:
An experienced, energetic leader who led significant change within organization(s), with 5+ years of experience leading and coaching a team, and 8+ years of experience in either sales development, presales, inbound/outbound sales. You have a proven track record of meeting new business quota and/or pipeline goals. You've hired, trained, and enabled SDRs with strong performance management skills. You can inspire your team to ensure it delivers, refines its processes, and exceeds the expectations of its internal stakeholders. You have extensive experience developing and mentoring your team(s) and find satisfaction in seeing them grow.
You are a quantitative thinker, agile with numbers and goals. You have experience with high velocity or high volume sales models (e.g. outbound cold calling).
If you have experience in sales operations or operational improvements, that's a plus!
As a Director of Sales Development you will:

  • Manage the management team of: SDR for new user, SDR for existing user, Inbound Chat Agents
  • Lead the improvement of top of funnel processes in a recently created and fast evolving team
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and account management teams, to provide a steady flow of high quality leads, enabling their success
  • Partner with the Marketing vertical teams on lead generation efforts and improvement of lead quality
  • Partner with the Recruiting and L&D team to hire and develop new cohorts of SDR talents
  • Serve as the internal and external point of contact on user escalations and ensuring customer needs are assessed and addressed promptly
  • Own the overall team performance and pacing towards monthly lead volume goals, and activity goals
  • Report regularly on data, activity and performance of the team


At this time we are seeking Denver-based candidates or candidates who can commute to our office in Denver. Our employees work in a flexible hybrid model and are expected to be in the office at least 2 days per week
Approximate base compensation is $112-140K per year. In addition to the base pay this role includes variable compensation earned and company RSUs as part of the compensation package. The final package may vary and will be determined by various factors including location the role is expected to be performed, shift, candidate profile and ideal qualifications.
