  • The Skupos retail sales team helps retailers leverage data to increase revenue, compete in their market and make better business decisions. We prospect thousands of customers every month and brings on over 1,000 new retail sites in the process. Expectations are high and the results are best in class. What You Will Do

  • We are seeking an exceptional Sales leader looking to utilize their proven track record of driving data platform sales solutions, ideally in the CPG retail space. The role will manage a company–wide quota and a growing team of Regional Sales Managers, Account Executives, and Business Development Reps. The role will be responsible for implementing best practices for all aspects of the sales process including prospecting, operations, strategy, assessment, qualification, presentation, negotiation and deal closing.This is an exceptional opportunity for the right person to join our Denver team at a critical stage and be part of a fast-growth environment with the ability to have a direct impact on continued growth.

What You Should Have

  • 8+ years of Sales Experience
  • 4+ years as a Sr. Sales Manager, Director or VP
  • Track record of overachievement, exceeding quota, and proactive growth
  • Must be a proven closer as this role will be modeling behavior for others
  • Highly skilled in Salesforce reporting and management
  • Confidence to disagree and commit 
  • Ability to build relationships and close high profile deals
  • Experience selling to the C-Level and front-line customers is a must. Need to be comfortable, confident and in command for a boardroom environment
  • Must be able to sell based on value, and lead, coach and develop a team to do the same
  • Command of full traditional sales funnel
  • Industry experience in SaaS and/or SMB B2B Sales
  • Highly transactional sales cycle experience is a bonus
  • Strong fundamentals in sales methodology solution selling, pipeline management, account reviews, sales training, team motivation

What Makes You A Great Fit

  • Building and managing teams of 30+ quota bearing sales reps across multiple territories. As well as supporting functions like Sales Operations, Business Development, Field & Product Marketing, Demand Generation and Business Analysts.
  • Experience working cohesively with cross-functional teams including marketing, strategy, customer experience, and implementation.
  • Recruiting, leading, motivating, hiring and developing sales staff; Track record of team building and getting reps to quota is a must
  • Passion for training and development
  • Ability to drive strategy with data-driven decisions
  • Expert in pipeline management coaching 
  • Continually learning about new products, ecosystem, partners and improving selling skills for you and your team
  • Demonstrating industry knowledge and best practices
  • Providing weekly reporting of pipeline and forecasts to the executive team
  • Defining and executing sales strategy 
  • Maintaining a commitment to the company’s sales process, values and business code of ethics
