About the Role
In this role, you will be a valued leader in Crusoe’s renewable energy business development plans. You will be collaborating with Crusoe’s other business units to deliver exceptional insight, deal development and ultimately execution of renewable energy power opportunities. You will work primarily with our Business Development team but will have a significant opportunity to work in collaboration with other teams including Finance, Engineering and Software.

Responsibilities
• Identify renewable assets and geographic regions that could benefit from an interruptible load with the goal of enabling development of additional renewable assets while improving grid stability
• Develop power purchase opportunities from those challenged assets and lead negotiations to secure green electrical supply deals with high reliability and market-leading cost
• Gain knowledge and expertise around Crusoe’s business, technology and core competencies in order to develop creative applications and business models within the renewable space
• Integrate into existing conversations and project development strategies to manage opportunities through execution
• Lead the development and execution of Crusoe’s global growth strategy into the challenged renewable energy space
• Establish and manage energy trading strategy to optimize effective cost of power and runtimes

Requirements
• 7+ years of professional experience in renewable development, wholesale power acquisition or power trading spaces, operating in commercial, technical or financial roles
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or engineering
• Extensive renewable industry knowledge and existing relationships

Salary range: $120k – $160k
