We are looking for a Director, Americas National VARs with the right energy, competitive spirit, personal drive and track record of success in driving growth with our strategic National VAR’s in the Americas. This person will manage a team of channel managers to drive engagement and pipeline with our most strategic reseller partners. This position involves developing business plans, sales alignment, strategy and building out the success metrics. The role will include oversight of a distributed team of channel account managers responsible for growing mind share and Zoom revenue with our national resellers such as CDW, SHI, Dell, Presidio, etc. This person must also be a strategic thinker who can build a compelling business plan with each partner and their executives as well as understand the alignment of channel sales with direct and how to build proper rules of engagement. This person must have worked in the enterprise cloud channel for over 10+ years in UCaaS, software sales, SaaS and/or cloud. Executive relationships and communication skills are required. Expertise in channel partner programs, partner profitability and offerings is expected.
Manage a channel sales team and develop a set of KPI’s and measurements for success
Ability to work cross-functionally with partner programs, channel operations, sales, support, product management, finance and legal to build business alignment and buy-in effectively
Build business plans with each national VAR with a focus on driving growth and engagement
Executive level communication skills and relationships
Channel program acumen and experience to work closely with the partner programs team to provide input on program refinement.
Experience managing a large, remote team
At least 10+ years in channel management and sales in UCaaS, SaaS and/or cloud
Track record of success
Experience with executive level engagements and communication
