Deal Desk function: Help growing Sales team orchestrate accurate and timely quoting, as well as, managing complex deals with minimal friction. Contribute to the standardization and improvement of business processes. The role will support two key objectives: increase sales efficiency, accuracy, and success, as well as improve business visibility and global consistency.
Responsibilities:
The Deal Desk Analyst will help to accelerate sales cycle to close and maximize revenue by partnering with our Sales reps in proposal building, pricing, quote generation and opportunity management
- Work with Salesforce and CPQ tool, reviewing and enforcing revenue recognition requirements for quote compliance
- Create and manage quotes for assigned Sales teams with accuracy and meeting product and pricing guidelines
- Ensure compliance with company pricing/discount policies and processes
- Add strategic value by highlighting process inefficiencies and areas in need of improvement
- Provide additional support to regional sales leaders as needed
- Strategize with Sales Leadership to structure and position complex orders, including acting as the liaison between Sales and internal stakeholders (Accounting, Professional Services, Legal, Fulfillment, etc.)
- Review proposals/quotes to make sure all requirements are met for Orders to be processed with minimal or no delays
- Ensure required approvals are obtained and clearly documented
- Responsible for adherence to and compliance with policy and procedures
- Flexibility at end of month and end of quarter to ensure all deadlines are met
- Meet SLA requirements with channel partners on deal registration, quoting, and order processing
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in a sales support function with a global sales team
- Experience quoting and order processing
- Solid understanding and experience using CRM/Salesforce with CPQ tool and QTC process knowledge
- Self-managing, detailed-oriented, motivated individual, and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
- Self-motivated, critical thinker with prior experience with complex pricing and proposal execution across Sales, Legal, and Finance
- Positive team player and effective communicator with various levels of management, personalities, and cultures
- Flexible, organized, and supportive in fast moving and changing environment
- Proven ability to take ownership and solve problems
- Collaborative participation in identifying and suggesting possible resolution in system gaps and processes to better streamline efficient workflow
- Familiar and comfortable with Microsoft products: outlook, excel, work, power point
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual starting salary for this position is between 50k-70k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
