About the Team

Our team of data analysts is a subset of the Sovrn Customer Success team. We are driven by a single mission: empower our publisher-facing teams through customer data. 

We are the experts on our customers’ data, digging deep into complex analysis, advocating for their needs, and partnering with teams across the company on a number of projects. 

Using Looker, we build tools to enable self-sufficiency within Customer Success, and train the team to use data in their day-to-day work. 

About the Job

As a Customer Success Analyst II, you will work closely with your team to understand the common trends with publishers in specific verticals. You'll be able to analyze these trends and formulate solutions to help our publishers better understand their business. 

This is a fast-paced environment, with ample opportunity to take initiative, take ownership, and creatively problem solve. 

This role is focused on eCommerce products for affiliate marketing and content monetization to serve publishers on the Web.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Work with Customer Success Leadership in driving success for all Sovrn publishers
  • Partner on cross-departmental projects, operational improvement projects and publisher projects that have the potential to drive success for all Sovrn publishers
  • Partner with the Support Engineers on technical implementation improvements and troubleshooting issues by providing analysis support
  • Develop analytics on the health of Sovrn publishers to understand where there are opportunities, inefficiencies and configuration changes to improve performance
  • Utilize analysis to understand the success of initiatives that your team executes
  • With guidance from your Leadership team, reach out to publishers to provide insights that you believe will help drive more success for them
  • Develop a cadence for analyzing your departments achievement of certain key performance indicators
  • Partner with the other Sovrn Analysts to develop new systems, strategies, compile testing data, track broader trends, and execute broader optimization initiatives

About You

You are driven, thoughtful and curious. You love data. You enjoy problem solving and take pride in your proactive efforts to fix something before it even becomes a problem. You are comfortable with change and can evolve as you learn. And above all else, you have empathy for the customer..

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of experience in analyst role and/or 1-2 years as a Sovrn Data Analyst
  • Proficiency using MS Excel 
  • High Proficiency with SQL (or other relational databases)
  • Experience with Looker as a data visualization tool 
  • Ability to present to Leadership and lead company-wide projects
  • Consultative approach to problem solving and cross-functional partnership
  • High level of technical aptitude
  • Analytical, can tie data to bigger picture

Compensation and Benefits

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate compensation range for this role in Boulder, Colorado is $65,000 to $80,000, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills and certifications.
