Cost of Access Manager

Position Description
This role is an integral part of the overall sales solution for any off-net service requests. Responsible for getting any Type II request from our vendors for Lit and Dark Fiber services. Works closely with Sales Engineering to negotiate price, vendor, term, and network design with vendors. Partner with Optimization team to provide renewal pricing for existing services to better sales’ or Zayo’s margin. The Cost of Access Manager is the point of contact for type II vendors.
Responsibilities
- Quoting
- Support the Enterprise segment with their Type II quoting needs.
- Work closely with our vendors in US, Canada, and EMEA markets to design and negotiate Type II solutions
- Work closely with our sales teams to design, quote, and negotiate Type II solutions that will help win opportunities.
- Optimization
- Renewal pricing negotiation
- Network optimization savings – working with the optimization team
- Maintain Vendor Information (400+ vendors)
- Vendor Contacts and current vendor MSAs
- Cross Connect Charges
- ETL
- Building lists
- NNIs
- Rate cards
- Ordering Procedures
- Escalation POC for SDCs, SEs and Billing Team
- Expense Builder / Ordering Process
- Work with our sales engineers and off-net ordering team to ensure ordering information is accurate and valid.
- Help problem solve when delays are encountered during the implementation process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 Years Telecom Experience
- Experience with SalesForce a plus
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills are required
- Strong sense of teamwork
- Must possess excellent analytical, judgement and decision making skills with the ability to adapt to change
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload efficiently and effectively with the ability to multi-task
- Must be a high energy individual, who is self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Base salary range: $55,191-$60,285
Full-time Zayo employees are also eligible for discretionary quarterly short-term and long-term incentive cash bonuses which are based on the performance of the Company, an employee’s business segment, and the individual employee
