- Creation of billing reference sheets for Medicare and commercial plans that will be provided to external customers.
- Travel with sales to try and ascertain reimbursement needs post-launch.
- Prepare reimbursement template decks for pre-launch meetings with hospitals, labs, or KOLs (at request of sales).
- Prepare reimbursement presentations ready to go post-launch.
- Work with PRC to get all customer and field documents approved.
- Provide expert coverage, coding and payment information to external customers, as required by sales, both pre-launch and post-launch.
- Serves as the regional subject matter expert for field sales.
- Ensure customers have a complete understanding of coding, coverage and billing requirements by payer and setting of care.
- Ensure billing is not a hurdle to utilization for Archer products.
- Work with the Market Access payer team to relay payer-specific information to internal and external customers.
- Provide sales with immediate information on customer feedback.
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience in reimbursement.
- Extensive writing skills.
- Proven track record of working with providers to provide reimbursement support and resolve reimbursement issues.
- Understanding of hospital systems and management practices.
- Ability to travel up to 65% and possesses a strong orientation to customer service and teamwork.
- Experience working with new medical technologies in the medical device, biologic, or pharmaceutical arena.
- Experienced in building account level access strategies and pull-through with field colleagues.
- Experience facilitating live training and in-service education (presentation skills).
- Extensive experience directly supporting healthcare providers to facilitate appropriate coverage, coding and payment for buy-and-bill and distributed products.
