The VP/Chief Architect is responsible for architecture and technology across the business unit.  He/she will work closely with the engineering organization and collaborate with business stakeholders and other senior architects across the company.

We are looking for you to take on a technical leadership role working with teams across our global organization to drive architecture and technology across the engineering organization.

In this position, you will:

• Lead architecture and technology decisions.
  
  • Work with customers, business stakeholders, Product Managers, and Product Owners to maintain a high-level understanding of the future technical requirements for a solution or portfolio
  • Lead enterprise-wide architectural initiatives that help evolve CA's Agile Management technical vision and strategy
  • Lead the process of architectural governance and oversight to standardize components and technologies across the portfolio
  • Continuously improve and reduce required customer interactions and the complexity around CA products and solutions
• Plan strategically
  
  • Provide input to the Enterprise Business Strategy process based on market data, competitive analysis, and insights on emerging disruptive business or technology trends
  • Work and lead Enterprise Architecture at the solution or portfolio level

What experience do I need?

• A minimum of 10 years of years of software development and architecture experience
• Experience designing and building SaaS applications on modern cloud platforms
• Experience with the latest open source technologies
• Understanding of machine learning and AI technologies
• Understanding of AWS services and building SaaS applications in the cloud
• Ability to work across multiple teams and business units
• An ability to communicate effectively across a global organization, and at all levels
• Exemplary personal integrity with an ability to earn trust from others and exemplify thought leadership and a growth mindset
• Experience around agile architectural excellence
• Ability to create innovative excellency by asking “What if” and inviting differing views
