We are seeking a talented Channel Account Manager to lead the Zoom Phone Channel Strategy primarily with our strategic reseller partners for North America. The main objective of this role is to develop Zoom Phone practices and build Zoom Phone pipeline across this partner segment.
The successful candidate will have the skills and expertise to build key relationships within the partners, understand the partner business models and how Zoom Phone can accelerate their business, guide them through the enablement and partner development journey, and be the Zoom Phone expert to drive their success.
Establish deep relationships within the National Strategic Partner program to be the trusted Zoom Phone advisor and accelerate their building of a thriving Zoom Phone practice.
Working collaboratively with the National Strategic CAMS, drive Zoom Phone mindshare and preference within the partner
Lead partner enablement and partner development journey including needs assessment, product training, bootcamps, and train-the-trainer events
Working with channel marketing, iImplement partner pipeline generation activities and campaigns
Strategize and build business development plans to accelerate their Zoom Phone partner practice
Strategize and partner with Channel Account Managers and Zoom Phone Channel Engineers to provide technical and sales expertise
Work closely with internal teams to support partner sales transactions and influence the evolution of content, enablement, processes, programs, and operations that support the Zoom Phone partner.
Advocate for partners to internal sales teams and operational organizations
Continually enhance product and operational process knowledge to maintain role as a Zoom Phone channel expert
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
7+ years experience in channel sales and partner practice development
Deep SaaS sales and lifecycle experience
5+ years telephony (on-prem and cloud) sales experience. UCaaS expertise.
Experience in bringing channel partners onboard, building partner practices, consulting partner differentiation, and partner pipeline generation.
Experience and knowledge of national VAR partners would be beneficial
Consultative leader with strong business acumen to influence and drive partner business across all organizational levels within the partner organization
Strong executive communication and presentation skills with experience in developing sales best practices, demoing, and building and delivering training in live and virtual modalities. Technical training experience preferred.
Entrepreneurial spirit with a proven track record of dynamic execution and delivering results.
Ability to evaluate complex processes and apply critical-thinking skills & develop new systems
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative environment
Ability and willingness to travel to partner locations and events (as permitted)
