We are now looking to hire a Business Development Representative to join #TeamGreen based in the US. The role can be based out of our Denver HQ or sit remotely.


Responsible for partner longtail strategy and management, onboarding, enablement, partner acquisition, and driving company revenue through outbound prospecting, managing inbound leads, and qualifying opportunities for the global Matillion consulting partner organization.


What you will be doing;

Partner Program

  • Manage the partner program for longtail partners
  • Maintain and manage the self-serve requirements of longtail partners
  • Ensure partners are in the relevant nurture campaigns and sequences

Prospecting Inbound leads

  • Responsible for meeting/exceeding the personal quota of meetings held with qualified prospects per month to drive revenue and partner acquisition
  • Effectively manage all partner inbound leads, enquiries and actively prospect for new partners and customer opportunities
  • Prospect and develop inbound leads, overcome objections, understand prospects’ needs, qualify them
  • Make a high volume of phone calls and emails sent (50+ calls per day)Follow up on demand-generation activities such as webinars, conferences, field marketing events, partner events, etc
  • Analyze potential partner business solutions, identify opportunities to utilize and sell Matillion to their customers
  • Manage
  • Drift live-chat on the company website to qualify and schedule sales calls with website visitors when a partner
  • Create new contacts and set meetings with existing partners in dispersed offices that are not yet utilizing Matillion.
  • Increase partner enablement and education by driving existing partners and potential partners to train, technical demos, and events

Salesforce Administration

  • Diligently maintain Salesforce CRM environment by regularly updating lead records and activity 

Teaming for success

  • Build strong working relationships with all teams within Matillion; primarily marketing and solution architectureShare best practices with other sales SDRs, collaborate with other members of the Alliances organization to maximize productivity

What we are looking for - Essential

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college, or relevant work history

Desirable

  • Business Development/Sales experience
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar enterprise CRM system
  • Experience working within the enterprise software development industry
  • Experience working with system integrators or partner teams
  • A foundational understanding of Cloud computing technology and a utility pricing model

Personal Capabilities Required, e.g. skills, attitude, strengths

  • Passion for technology and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • ‘Go-getter’ mentality with a desire to advance career in sales
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and with multiple departments
  • Strong public speaking/presentation skills
