Job Summary

We are looking for an outstanding Business Development Representative (BDR) to be responsible for generating new business. Business Development Representatives initiate exploratory calls with prospects, evaluate ideal client profile fit, and schedule consultations for our Account Executives. As a TrackVia BDR, you will directly influence sales success and company revenue growth! You will primarily be hunting for new business and creatively prospecting through cold calls, LinkedIn, marketing campaigns, and emails. You will use your excellent communications skills to cultivate strong relationships with potential buyers and existing clients to help drive revenue. Each BDR receives extensive training in consultative selling and talk tracks to promote successful handoffs to Account Executives.

Responsibilities

  • Main daily objective is to secure pre-qualified consultations and fill the sales pipeline for our Account executives
  • Prompt response to inbound leads- initial contact within 7 minutes
  • Use outbound prospecting strategies to lead initial outreaches to prospects
  • Identify prospects’ pain points, needs, and current processes to determine if there is a potential product-solution fit
  • Engage and connect with a variety of different buyers, industries, and positions in an organization
  • Execute on marketing initiatives to drive new business
  • Farm new business from existing clients to create more sales opportunities for Account Managers
  • Provide seamless handoff of leads to Account Executives to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Provide helpful feedback to Marketing and Sales regarding campaign effectiveness, company and persona targeting, and market and competitive intelligence

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Rep, Account Executive, or similar role
  • 1-3 years of experience in software sales and SaaS technologies
  • 1-5 years of sales experience
  • Track record of achieving sales quota
  • Strong prospecting, lead creation, and phone skills
  • Ability to work in high-energy environment as a team player with a positive attitude
  • High degree of responsiveness and a sense of urgency
  • Entrepreneurial spirit—exhibits creativity, drive, competitiveness, and a passion for growing TrackVia’s revenue
  • Excellent time management skills, active listening and writing skills, and a GROWTH mindset
  • Experience using CRM- ideally Salesforce.com
