SUMMARY
Agathos, a venture-backed health analytics startup, seeks an energetic, organized Business Development Representative to join our sales team and lead efforts to expand our pipeline of hospital customers nationwide. Following a successful first half of 2019, Agathos is poised for considerable growth and the Business Development Representative will play a critical role in our success.
Agathos partners with hospitals to give hospital clinicians convenient, reliable, and timely feedback on their practice patterns through our scalable transparency platform and mobile tool. Agathos' unparalleled speed and precision in deploying this solution generates trust, alignment, continuous learning, and improvement. Agathos optimizes clinical utilization, maximizes quality and efficiency, reduces waste in hospitals, and makes valuable care obvious and normal.
This position is based in Denver, CO. Agathos is building a commercial headquarters in Denver effective July, 2019!
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with Agathos’ Sales team (i.e., Account Executives, Head of Sales, CEO) to accelerate pipeline growth
Lead outbound prospecting through Agathos’ CRM campaigns (i.e., Hubspot)
Find creative ways to engage our multiple hospital stakeholders via email, phone, warm connections, etc.
Research customer prospects and support executive meetings
Educate potential customers on their opportunity to improve quality and efficiency and reduce waste via better transparency, physician alignment, and engagement
Educate the Agathos team about purchasing and operational challenges customers face
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Great conversationalist that enjoys asking questions and understanding customer needs
Natural curiosity to learn about healthcare, idiosyncratic medical challenges, and hospital operations
Self-starter with innate drive for self improvement and team contribution
Results-oriented and organized
Specific interest in working in healthcare, serving healthcare providers, and making the U.S. healthcare system more efficient and effective for patients and healthcare providers alike
Denver resident
NICE TO HAVES
Demonstrated ability to hit quantitative stretch goals, particularly sales
Demonstrated ability to quickly engage skeptical audiences
At least 6 months experience outbound prospecting for a startup or rapidly growing new product line, ideally in the digital health or healthcare provider markets
Experience with Hubspot CRM (and working with CRMs in general)
Good understanding of the U.S. healthcare system, specifically healthcare providers
