Business Development Representative (BDR)

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) in Energy Acuity’s downtown Denver office, you will be responsible for functioning as the front line of our company by cold calling prospective Energy Acuity clients & qualifying leads.  We are seeking energetic, motivated, and articulate team players who are passionate about sales and excited to share Energy Acuity's vision.

Our BDR’s will work hand in hand with Inside Sales to generate leads and build sales pipelines. As a Business Development Representative at Energy Acuity You Will

  • Work with assigned Account Executives to build a strong and sustainable sales pipeline
  • Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market our solutions to potential customers.
  • Communicate with prospects via telephone cold calls, emails, LinkedIn and other resources to develop interest in Energy Acuity’s offerings
  • Utilize strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments.
  • Understand the Energy Acuity platform enough to provide high level introductions.
  • Leverage taught sales techniques to maximize customer interactions.
  • Log, track, and maintain outbound activity.
  • Work closely with VP of Sales, and attend events and trade shows as required.
  • Collaborate with SDR and sales team to achieve collective & individual goals

Our Ideal Business Development Representative Will Have

  • BS/BA degree from an accredited institution
  • Strong phone, written and in-person customer communication skills.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Results driven & competitive mindset
  • Strong PC skills and knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and be self-motivated.
  • Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
  • Strong desire for a career in sales
