Internal Title: Community Sales Representative

Have you ever wondered what it was like to work at Facebook during the early days, or Airbnb when they were eating Obama O’s and sleeping on mattresses in random strangers' empty apartments? You now have the chance to work directly on the Innovation team. 

This is not your average sales job. In addition to non-stop learning, you will have the rare opportunity to work directly with 3 of the original 5 founders of a startup in the home services space that powers billions of dollars of GMV. This is a real-world, start up experience you won’t get anywhere else - a great resume builder and primer to a fast paced dynamic startup world.

You are passionate about helping others, and great at building and maintaining relationships. You are self-motivated and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment. You are a team player and goal-oriented. You are a risk-taker and not afraid to break the rules in order to prove something you believe in. You consider yourself a people-person and will be able to connect with Pros and convey why using Housecall Pro will help them get to a better life. You’ve got amazing in-person and online communications skills and know how to slide into someone's DMs. An entrepreneurial mindset is the backbone to this position. Waking up each day to the hustle; you won’t be bored! 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Harvest online community for leads
  • Generate ~ 10 leads a day
  • Develop presence across Facebook, Instagram and Reddit
  • Sell the importance of the current digital movement to prospective Pros.
  • 2 enrollments (closes) per week
  • Held accountable to hit specific numbers each week; the sales hustle!
  • Make phone calls the close on deals

  • Visionary:  Our business is fast paced and always changing and you keep one step ahead by visualizing the “big” picture to find the problems and solutions within it.
  • Passionate: Passion for learning, for new experiences, and for being the best at what you do. Passionate about sales strategies is a must; always wanting to up your game by perfecting your skills. 

Qualifications:

  • Must be self-motivated, passionate, coachable, relentlessly resourceful, resilient, and able to multitask
  • Ability to handle customer relationship management, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • A naturally curious, driven and dynamic team player with “hunter” mentality 
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • 40hrs/week+,  even if a current student
  • Bonus qualification:
    • You have lots of Reddit karma
    • You have started your own company, worked at a Home Service business or worked at a tech startup before.

Compensation:

  • On-target earnings: $55,000+

Location

We are actively hiring in San Diego, CA and Denver, CO. Majority of our employees work remotely but we have an office in the RINO district if employees choose to come in.
