Business Development Operations Manager
This role will be responsible for providing Zoom’s global BDR organization with the strategy, reporting and operations they need to be successful in their roles. The position entails cross-functionally partnering with BDR leaders, Marketing, Sales Operations and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless BDR coordination. We’re seeking a strong leader and a self-starter who has executed operations functions previously, within a rapidly scaling environment.
Responsibilities:
Own Process Accuracy and Analytics
Highlight current successful and/or strategic sequences from personal sequences to bring to a wider BDR audience
Provide best practices to bring innovation and knowledge to the team
Institute governance to ensure BDR processes that align with marketing goals and messaging
Promote and highlight team successes to drive further use Manage BDR Operations and Strategy:
Work cross functionally with team members to ensure BDR strategy is aligned with overall business goals and needs
Communicate and manage BDR analytics to drive change and efficiency
Develop BDR KPIs for compensation, effectiveness and tool usage
Proficiency in building reporting in Salesforce, Outreach and/or Tableau, to help find leading indicators for performance, and to highlight trends across different cohorts of the BDR Org
Partner with Marketing Leadership to ensure BDRs have the appropriate set of tools to manage and track their business
Own workflows for prospecting, CRM, and marketing automation solutions directly relate to BDR frameworks and sales approach
Deliver actionable ad-hoc intelligence and recommendations
Requirements:
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of SaaS experience in a Sales, Operations or Analytics role
Proficiency in Salesforce Domo/Tableau, LeanData, Outreach
Nice to have, some level of comfort with large data sets and/or SQL
Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and actively build solutions for gaps that are slowing or blocking our ability to achieve results
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and good self-awareness
Excellent organizational and project management skills
