Business Development Manager at A2Z Sync (Greater Denver Area, CO)

What You’ll Do:
The person in this role will be accountable for generating and maximizing sales revenue and increasing A2Z Sync’s dealer partnerships. This role will be assigned to open territories or territories without adequate coverage from existing Business Development Managers. The primary location for the open position will be in Denver, Colorado. This is an in-office position.

- Use a consultative selling approach to manage and successfully close complex sales opportunities.
- Use insight and consultative selling techniques to provide feedback to clients on industry trends, strategies, and challenges.
- Independently and collaboratively strategize for solving problems relating to the customer experience during the transaction.
- Discuss, present, and demonstrate key advantages of the A2Z Sync software and training system.
- Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue sales goal
- Backfill open territories or existing territories as needed.
- Partner with Client Success Managers to develop customer relationships with new and existing dealers.
- Build trusted relationships with decision-makers at the dealership, Dealer Principals, Controllers, and General Managers.
- Frequent travel in designated sales territories and divisions (Up to 75%).

Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in a B2B sales and business development related role in a SaaS company
- BS/BA degree or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- Ability to tailor communication to the client’s needs
- Effectively delivers presentations and has strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to systematically solve problems and hypothesize possible client pain points, expectations, and needs
- The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of auto dealership departments and its processes, including but not limited to sales, finance management, and related software functionality
- Must have the ability to close sales opportunities and maintain a long-term trusted relationship with clients
- Highly organized and proficient in time management skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience of dealership software such as a DMS, digital retailing solutions, CRMs or similar products used in the automotive industry
- Previous experience in managing a multi-state sales territory
- Previous experience as a dealership Finance Manager, Desk Manager, GSM, and GM
- Proven track record with an automotive start-up company
- Experience with creating a client base from scratch
