What you will be doing

Responsible for all aspects of identifying and executing new business growth opportunities across managed services within the Risk, Credit & Lending solutions group. Focused on immediate revenue generating opportunities, responsible for all areas of business development, working within a matrix organization. Involves extensive interaction with sales, pre-sales, marketing, product strategy, client relationship teams, technology solutions, service delivery and/or other cross-functional teams. Frequent client engagement and travel is part of the role.

• Conduct various types of research and analysis to identify new business growth opportunities within all areas of managed services across the Risk, Credit & Lending solutions group. Opportunities could include shifting to hosting or Public Cloud, upsell of managed testing or managed upgrades, BPaaS, BPO, etc. for existing clients or prospects.

• Works closely with strategic pricing personnel to advise on revenue and profit maximizing pricing, pricing strategy and key account revenue structure.

• Drive the execution of the business growth strategies, working with senior stakeholders within the line of business and across finance, legal, sales, marketing and operational teams.

• Direct and control sales support activities including “go-to-market” strategy, lead generation, analytics, pricing strategy and automation, client presentations, sales messaging, development, and deployment, campaign management, deal making support, and request for proposal (RFP) processes in support of sales revenue goals, strategies and objectives.

• Works with multi-geographical teams, composed of various levels of personnel to create and deploy successful initiatives.
• Serves as liaison between technical (hosting) and non-technical (managed services) teams in internal organizations to ensure all targets and requirements are met.
• Delivers informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups across the organization.

• In conjunction with competitive intelligence personnel, advises senior executives on competitors, mega-trends, strategic threats and industry inflection points.

• As a visible and respected industry thought leader, represents FIS in industry press, with equity and industry analysts, industry associations, at industry conferences, FIS conferences, strategic sales opportunities and senior executive meetings at key accounts.

• Travel is required.
 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

What you bring:

• Knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
• Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles, e.g., conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and the correct project application
• Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry , e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma
• Knowledge of financial services industry
• Knowledge of company’s products and services
• Recognized within the enterprise for quality client interaction and successful project completion within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints
• Experience with both large solution implementations at external client organizations and solution development projects
• Demonstrated ability to establish budgets, forecast and manage financial results
• Demonstrated excellent leadership, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skills
• Demonstrated strong business acumen
• Ability to think and act at an enterprise level
• Ability to interact effectively with executive level clients
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to negotiate externally and internally
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature
