The Role

Start your journey with us in the cannabis business! The Business Development Representative will utilize key sales methodologies of cold calling, inbound marketing awareness, and internal collaboration to expand our sales footprint. You will be responsible for daily & weekly sales metrics aimed at closing commercial and retail business. You will utilize proper CRM utilization to document sales progress and help to forecast acquisition rates. 

Candidates must have a sales hunger and are motivated by an ever changing emerging market sales mentality. Objection handling, and on-time follow-up are pillars to success in this role. Additionally, the ability to learn new software and technologies, excellent written and verbal skills, and a team player personality are musts.

Day - To - Day

  • Strategic Outreach & Cold Calling New Cannabis Growers, Manufacturers, & Brands
  • Map Out & Attack Current Cannabis Company Structures
  • Continuously Optimize Internal CRM Tools & Resources
  • Collaborate Internally (Marketing) to Launch New Markets

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of sales experience
  • Success Selling in Tech/Finance Environment
  • Cannabis Industry Preferred
  • US Resident
  • 1+ year of CRM Management
  • Cold Calling Expert
  • Competitive, Eager to Clim
