The vision of our Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships team is to drive long-term revenue with small businesses by creating meaningful and value-added engagement at every touchpoint, developing the foundation for an ongoing business relationship. The Customer Management team is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with small business owners across North America. Our team takes great pride in educating our merchants on the best lending options for their business, not ours. You will have the opportunity to create an amazing sales career without ever having to make “cold calls,” with leads provided daily. You will become an expert in SMB Lending.
The Associate Lending Advisor opportunity is a great starting point for your career at OnDeck that allows for tremendous growth opportunity. This role allows for the proper training and development (6-12+ months depending on performance and business needs) needed to be successful in future sales roles at OnDeck. In the Associate Lending Advisor role, you will learn our products, markets, industry and the OnDeck sales process and skills. You will have a direct relationship with customers, be an important part to helping reach out to over 3500 potential customers, generating a 100 additional approvals for our Direct team resulting in $1M in booked volume each month.
As an Associate Lending Advisor at OnDeck on the SDR Team, you will:
- Develop new business consistently by calling a significant number of potential merchants each day
- Follow up on your leads and maintain a very active pipeline
- Understand and apply proven concepts of deal structure and strategy
- Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company's thoughtful inspiring culture and vision for the future
- Serve as an enthusiast for On Deck’s suite of products and financial tools
- Work in a fun, fast-paced environment with some really cool and brilliant people
Qualifications to make it happen:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree 0-2 years of experience in a sales-driven, telesales or customer service environment
- Have made outbound calls to potential clients
- You are excited about growing an exciting career in sales with a proven track record
- Your personality is engaging - powerful work ethic, resilience, and emotional intelligence
- You share a passion to advance the vision of the department
