POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an Associate Account Manager to ensure that AdAction maximizes revenue from a portfolio of active Tier 2 clients. The successful applicant will be responsible for crafting data-driven stories to up sell, cross-sell, renew contracts, and win-back accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage Insertion Order renewal process for the Account Management team
- Assist with training and onboarding of new employees.
- Identify and maximize growth opportunities from a portfolio of existing Tier 2 clients
- Utilize acquired knowledge of AdAction's products and industry news/trends to answer client questions and speak to any concerns
- Proactively create performance reports and proposals to educate clients on current campaigns and new opportunities that align with their business
- Utilize Salesforce to maintain account records and file support requests
- Advocate on behalf of clients to internally escalate any concerns and reasonable requests
- Analyze campaign results and report progress as well as new opportunities to clients at the end of a defined period
- Continuously work with management to refine growth, win-back, and renewal strategies
- Translate client objectives into action items for the Ad Operations and Performance Media teams
- Negotiate contracts and pursue long term relationships with clients
- Manage multiple aspects of the advertiser relationship including re-engagement, price negotiations, and campaign launches
- Participate in developing account management best practices and internal processes
- Monitor daily metrics, program performance, and traffic quality to identify areas for growth and improvement
- Support direct and indirect sales group in a consulting capacity
- As needed, coordinate activities and resources among internal teams, including Sales, Operations, and Finance
- As appropriate, represent AdAction at designated trade shows and conferences
- Maintain and improve internal intranet and CRM solutions
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- BA/BS required
- 1 - 3 years of experience in a data-driven environment, managing multiple stakeholders (internal or external)
- Must be results-oriented and possess an entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a demanding, fast-paced work environment
- Motivated individual, with a positive attitude, who consistently strives to achieve goals in a manner exceeding expectations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, functions, etc.) are required… you will be tested!
- Ability to refine and translate raw data into an actionable story is a must
- Highly analytical and incredibly attentive to detail
- Ability to multitask and problem solve
- Mobile, tech, or digital media related background a plus
- Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events (1-2 times/year)
