About the role

GutCheck is seeking a Sales Development Representative to work with Fortune 1000 accounts and some of the largest, most well known brands. This is a great career development opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their skills and gain experience towards a bright future in sales. The role will work closely with seasoned Account Executives, and be provided mentorship from senior sales leadership.

What you’ll do

  • Tee It Up! Live by and champion our cultural values of Team, Educated Opinion, Economic Thinking, Intellectual Honesty, and Trust
  • Identify and prospect targets within named accounts with the goal being to schedule an initial meeting or demo after initial emails and calls to qualify them into meeting specific criteria.
  • Create and execute effective outreach campaigns to prospect accounts to set appointments
  • Accurately explain GutCheck value to clients
  • Meet and exceed aggressive sales quotas and objectives
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop outreach campaigns

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Typically, 1-4 years overall experience
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, continually evolving setting
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to develop skills and advance their sales career within the organization
  • A hunter sales mentality
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • A track record of exceeding expectations
  • A good listener who is highly process driven
  • Exceptional communication skills; affinity towards and comfortability cold calling
  • Ability to manage a large number of leads, contacts, accounts, and opportunities in a CRM system quickly and accurately
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Collaborates well with others and and is a team player in sales
  • Has a coachable attitude and approach to the job

Bonus points

  • 1 - 2 years of B2B sales experience
  • Understanding of marketing practices and basic market research techniques
  • Understanding of creative development, advertising and media placement and/buying
  • Proficiency in a Customer Relationship Management system
