Why this role?

As Account Manager you'll be responsible for growing existing accounts across multiple industries and geographic markets who seek to hire technical professionals.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and yearly targets set by management
  • Creating strategy and setting appointments with existing clients on a monthly/quarterly basis to discuss current usage and offer upsell opportunities
  • Working with a global sales team to collaborate and executive on client strategy
  • Identifying and communicating competitive challenges
  • Troubleshooting issues and handle challenging situations with clients
  • Working across functional teams (customer success, marketing etc) to ensure clients are utilizing products and performance meets expectations
  • Responding to customer questions and needs from a sales and account management perspective
  • Promoting of content through social media (blog posts, articles, industry trends, product enhancements etc)
  • Driving a consistent customer communication practice that promotes product value and service
  • Teaching and sharing knowledge with customers and promoting company learning events (webinars, conferences, etc)
  • In collaboration with Customer Success, ensuring all product enhancements are communicated effectively to ensure customer usage and success
  • Listening with the intent to understand customer delight with both product and service
  • Approaching customer engagement with the “Golden Rule”
  • Executing on quarterly OKRs centered on customer engagement to drive customer loyalty, retention and expansion
  • Supporting industry events and conferences as needed

For this role, we're requiring:

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Entrepreneurial, disciplined and results driven
  • Strategic mindset with an ability to sell solutions to customers

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and experience with a CRM, preferably SalesForce
  • Energetic and self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently

Education, Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/sales or a related field or equivalent proven experience
  • 2-3 years account management experience
  • Experience with selling to existing customers
  • Experience selling to technical organizations is highly desirable, but not required

Compensation

Base salary/pay plus commissions of $72,000 – $140,400 per year at 100% of plan targets. Offer will depend on location and level of job-related knowledge, skills, abilities and experience.
